Clara "Joyce" Latham

Clara "Joyce" Latham, age 82, of Friendsville went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Joyce was saved at the age of 10 at Four Mile Baptist Church in Maryville. She loved working with her flowers and bird watching. Joyce was a loving and devoted Wife and Mother who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, George Edward Latham and infant son, Michael; Parents, Caswell G. Chambers and Katharyn Nancy Bryant Chambers; Sisters, Elsie Lew Belcher of Eustis, Fl, Mildred Louise Gunter of Maryville, Vera Wilma Whitehead of Maryville, Earle Mavis Rogers of Fayetteville, NC; Brother, James Wendell Chambers of Maryille; Sisters, Doris June Thacker of Cleveland, OH, and Anne Loraine Satterfield of Maryville; She is survived by her Daughter, Jana Gail Latham of Friendsville; Sisters, Etta V. Alberta Lawhorn and Brenda Ann Riggs, both of Maryville; Many Nieces, Nephews, and other family also survive. A Celebration of Joyce's Life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. James Atkins officiating. Family and friends will assemble for the Interment at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Grandview Cemetery.
