Christopher Lee Evers

Christopher Lee Evers age 17 of Maryville passed away Monday, October 17, 2016. He was a Senior at William Blount High School. Chris played Rugby for Bearden High School and won the State Championship Bowl in May. He was nominated as Top Chef for Senior Superlative. He loved basketball, hiking, beach volleyball, and hanging with friends and loved ones. He is his little brothers’ Hero! Preceded in death by: Grandmother, Sandra Joyner. Survivors include: Mother, Christy Joyner Evers; Father, Steven Lee Evers & Kristy Petty Evers; Brothers, Michael Evers and Joshua Evers; Grandparents, James & Phyllis Joyner and Robert & Debra Evers; Step-Grandparents, Jerry & Marlene Petty; Great-Grandmothers, Ophelia Mulkey and Laverne Casey; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of other family members and friends. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Fairview United Methodist Church. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Roger Williams and Rev.
