Christine Elizabeth Smith

Christine Elizabeth Smith, age 68, of Maryville, passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 at the family home. Christine was a longtime retired employee with AT&T, formerly Bell Atlantic Telephone, and First Tennessee Bank after many years of service. She was a lifelong member of Friendship Baptist Church and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Gladys Blackburn, husband, Roland Smith and her brothers, Floyd Blackburn Jr. and Larry Blackburn. She is survived by her Son and Daughter-in-law, Brian Keith and Tarra Kunz of Killen, TX; Grandchildren, Brandon and Kayla Kunz; Sister, Billie Sesco, and Louise and Leon Oleson; Special Nieces, Theresa Cooper, Lora Cooper, Brandi Morgan, and Alisha Tackett; Special Caregivers, Kari Gomez and Nicole Gentry for their love and kindness. A Celebration of Christine’s Life will be held on Thursday, October 08, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. in the Smith East Hall with Rev. Jimmy Riner officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service starting at 6:00 p.m. Family and friends will assemble on Friday, October 09, 2015 at Roselawn Memorial Garden Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. for the Interment service.
