Cheryle Elizabeth "Libby" Koella

Libby Koella passed away, with her husband by her side, February 1 at Fort Sanders Hospital after battling a long illness. Born in Blount County, Tennessee, there she lived her entire life, tirelessly continuing the work she began at an early age: nurturing and loving others. She was daughter, Mom, Nana, Libby, “B” and friend —she easily shared her beautiful smile, an outward sign of the fiercely loyal and tender heart within her. She was a light in this world, and, to her husband of 41 years, there was no brighter star. She was preceded in death by her parents Cheri Myers Price and Frank W. Myers and siblings Sondra Lee Myers, Teresa Myers Hayes, Kathy Myers, and Michael “Mikey” Myers. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Ernie Koella, son Michael D. Koella, grandson Michael D. Koella II, sister Patti Myers, and special soulmate Jake Bielstine. She was laid to rest at Grandview Cemetery, Maryville, Tennessee.
