Cheryl Denise Poe

Cheryl Denise Poe age 57 of Maryville, passed away Monday, October 24, 2016 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She faithfully attended Broadway Baptist Church for many years. Cheryl was a sweet and kind soul with a big heart. She was a loving and devoted aunt, sister and friend who will be truly missed by her family and friends. Preceded in death by: Grandparents, James & Jessie Poe of Maryville and Ralph & Anna Mae Henson of Mineral Bluff, GA; Parents, Ernest & Ruby Poe; Sister, Judy Tipton. Survivors include: Best Friend and Partner, Dale Himes; Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Faye & Don Emert of Maryville, Bobbie & Stan Sampson of Loudon, Teresa Richards of Maryville, Margie Bradford of Maryville, and Sandy & Jim Giles of Maryville; numerous loving nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly; Special Pet, Huey. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Tony Collins officiating.
