Charlotte Rose Tilson

Charlotte Rose (Green) Tilson, age 82, of Maryville passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024, at Clover Hill Assisted Living.  She was currently a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church and a former member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.  She was a graduate of Baptist Hospital Nursing school. Charlotte was a Registered Nurse at Blount Memorial Hospital and spent the last 14 years of her career as Hospice Coordinator.  She was an avid hiker, loved the mountains, and took great pride in being an amazing homemaker for her family.  Charlotte loved working with her hands, sewing, crocheting, and making clothes.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Tilson; son, Mark Tilson; parents, Harry and Oleeta Green; brother, Danny Green.  Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Joel and LuAnne Tilson; daughter, Sharon Moore; grandchildren, Adam Tilson and Anna, Tyler Tilson and Amanda, Jamie Morton and Sawyer, Seth Moore, and Ethan Moore; great grandchildren, James Tilson, Ellis Tilson, and Tyson Morton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Mona Green, and Stephen Green; several nieces and nephews.  The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Clover Hill Assisted Living and Gentiva Hospice for the great care they took of Charlotte.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, May 24, 2024, in the Smith Trinity Chapel.  Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev.
