Charlotte Ann Rose Davis

Charlotte Ann Rose Davis age 70 of Alcoa passed away Saturday, October 4, 2008 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. She was of the Baptist Faith. Charlotte retired from Park Med Clinic and was involved in the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She loved Bingo, flowers and had a huge love for her family and life. Charlotte enjoyed her grandchildren and always made the holidays special. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thurman and Cora Rose of Blount Co. Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Mel Davis; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Jan Wilson of Greenback; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Stanley Crye of Greenback, Deana and Lewis "Buster" Endsley of Kingston; step-son, Roger and Janice Burns; grandchildren, Erica, Micah, and Megan Wilson, Brandi and Kara Latham, Stacie Henry and husband, Craig, Jennifer Marney and husband, John, Amanda Endsley, Nikki and Chad Burns; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Betty Rose of Maryville; sister, Nancy Bunch of Knoxville. The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Wahid Hannah, Dr. Kevin Martinolich, Dr. Joseph Liu, Dr. John Rooke, Dr. Keith Gray and the many nurses at UT Hospital. Funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2008 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Holder officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Maryville, 983-1000.
