Charlene Patty

Charlene Patty, age 83 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a life-time member of Memorial Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist Church of Alcoa. Charlene was retired from First Tennessee Bank and Maryville City Schools. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. Charlene was a caregiver for her entire life, and she enjoyed taking care of everyone and making them feel loved. She loved reading the Bible and loving on her 2 boys, 2 granddaughters, and 1 great-granddaughter. Charlene was a decedent of Cades Cove. She loved spending her time with her special girlfriends. She always had a positive outlook and always told people “I couldn’t have had a better life.” Preceded in death by husband, Dale Patty; parents, Wiley and Nancy Myers; brother, Leon Myers; daughter-in-law, Deborah Patty. Survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Brent Patty, Brian and Kendra Patty; grandchildren, Kendal Patty, Chelsea and Nathan Hughes; great-granddaughter, Abigail Rose Hughes. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, Jill Rollins, Memorial Chair, 2330 Chesterfield Drive, Maryville TN 37803. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 PM Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Smith Trinity Chapel. The Graveside Service and Interment will follow at 3:30 PM at Cades Cove Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Greg Williamson officiating.
