Charles Junior Whitener

Charles Junior Whitener, age 83, passed away peacefully at home with his wife, children, and grandchildren on Wednesday, August 19, 2015. He was retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company after 25 years of service. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoors. Preceded in death by: Parents, Charlie & Mary Whitener; Son, Ricky Darrell Whitener; Brother, R.J. Whitener. He is survived by: Wife of 63 years, Mary; Son, Allen (Faye) Whitener; Daughters, Darlene (Terry) Coffey, Brenda (Fred) Waltermyer, and Denise (Ricky) Weeks; 11 Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren. A very special thanks to granddaughter Heather Gideon. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Friday, August 21, 2015 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Rex Everett & Rev. Doug Tipton officiating.
