Charles C. Whitehead

Charles C. Whitehead, age 87, of Farragut, TN passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012. He was a member of First Farragut United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by: father, Elijah Whitehead; mother, Loda (Carpenter) Whitehead; sister, Mary Alice Meredith; and brother, Harold Whitehead. Survivors include: wife of 60 years, Emma Jean (Tipton) Whitehead; daughter, Pamela Dishongh; grandchildren, Katie Dishongh and Isaac Dishongh; nephews, Douglas Whitehead and Robert Meredith; and sister-in-law, Verna Tipton. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Smith Chapel, 1402 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN with Rev. Richard Edwards officiating.
