Charles “Slick�? Russell age 68 of Maryville passed away Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Blount Memorial Hospital surrounded by family and friends. He was a loving and caring man. He was a loving father and grandfather. He loved the mountains and riding around. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him, especially his family and friends. Preceded in death by: Parents, Luke & Katherine Russell; Son, Charles Lee “Charlie Baby�? Russell. Survivors include: Daughters & Sons-in-law, Lori & Gary Blair, Diane & Jeff Tucker, Charlene & Lynn Burchfield; Grandchildren, Brandi Stewart, Cole Blair, Coy Blair, Justin Russell, Cydney Russell; Great-Grandchildren, Dalton Stewart, Alissa Stewart, Nicholas Russell, and Baily Stewart; Brothers, Luther Russell, Leonard Russell, Eugene Russell, Clifford Russell, and Jerry Russell; Sisters, Francis Young, Mary Sue Bradburn, Elli Dyer, and Janie Boring. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. Tommy Russell officiating. Interment will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Grandview Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Smith West Chapel.
