Charles Randolph Newcomb

Charles Randolph (Randy) Newcomb age 75 of Maryville passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Broadway Baptist Church, an avid supporter of St. Jude Children’s Hospital, and veteran of the United States Army. Preceded in death by: Wife, Byrtle Newcomb; Son, Joseph Randall Newcomb; Parents, William & Flora Newcomb. Survivors include: Daughters & Sons-in-law, Gail & Gerald Whitehead, Ann & Tim Merritt, Linda & Greg McClain; Grandchildren, Wayne Merritt; April Whitehead, Nathan Starrett & friend Kelly Cooper, Valerie & Richard Jobe, Christopher & Kari McClain; 5 Great-Grandchildren; Very Special friend, Pat Tilley; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Friday, April 23, 2010 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Tony Collins officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Solway Church of God Cemetery in Knoxville.
