Charles Mynatt

Charles R. Mynatt age 65 of Walland, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2011. Charles retired from AT&T after 40 years of service. He also proudly served with the Air National Guard for nearly 41 years, retiring as a SMSgt with the 119th Command & Control Squadron. Charles was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Maryville. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Charlotte Bowers Mynatt, and his parents, Earl and Ruth Mynatt. He is survived by his wife, Clerlinda Mynatt; son, Brent Mynatt; step-daughters, Amy Long and family and Becky Worde and family; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jeanette and Stanley Whitehead of Athens, TN, Wilma and James McCall, and Mary and David Coulter, both of Maryville; several nephews and close friends. The funeral service will be at 7:00 PM on Monday, November 28, 2011, with Rev Larry and Rev Brenda Carroll officiating. Family and friends will assemble for the interment service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at Oak View Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (www.aspca.org).
