Charles E. (Chuck) Holt age 70 of Maryville celebrated his new life with Jesus Thursday, May 13, 2010. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired as a Captain from the Shreveport, LA Police Department with 17 years of service. He served in law enforcement with the VA Hospital in Shreveport, LA for 11 years. He served honorably his Lord Jesus Christ, his country, and his community. He was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by: Parents, Willie & Stella Holt; 5 brothers; 1 sister. Survivors include: Wife of 48 years, Brenda Holt; Sons & Daughters-in-law, Wade & Nina Holt and Craig & Angela Holt; Daughter & Son-in-law, Carla Holt & Jim Walker; 7 Grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 4:00 Pm, Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. Mike Parker officiating. Private interment will follow.
