Charles Lindbergh Hatcher age 91 of Maryville passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Fairpark Healthcare Center. He graduated from Porter High School in 1947 and married Mary Joyce Walker on August 13, 1949. Lindbergh was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church, former member of Everett High School Band Boosters, former member of the Blount County Rescue Squad, and former Volunteer Firefighter with the City of Maryville Fire Department. He was an accomplished woodworker, craftsman and construction superintendent. Preceded in death by: Parents, Sam & Annie Hatcher; Siblings, Edith Wohlwend, Lou Hester, Donald Hatcher, Alice Faye Hatcher, and Barbara Gideon. Survivors include: Wife of 70 years, Joyce Walker Hatcher; Sons & Daughters-in-law, Steve & Carol Hatcher and Mike & Kelly Hatcher; Daughter & Son-in-law, Carole & Pat Flynn; Grandchildren and Spouses, Chris & Leah Flynn, Nicholas & Betsy Flynn, Brent Hatcher, Michelle Hatcher, and Sean Hatcher; Great-Grandsons, Jack Flynn and Sam Flynn; Sister, Wilma Renfro; Brothers, Bobby Hatcher and Ronnie Hatcher; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the entire staff of Fairpark Health & Rehab for their care over the past several months. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon, Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will be at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Greg Long officiating.
