Charles Raymond Graham

Charles Raymond Graham, age 87 passed away June 1, 2012 in Maryville, TN. He was at home his final days surrounded by loving family. Preceded in death by his father, Ernest Norton Graham; mother, Alma Graham; brothers, Norton (Reid), Harry, John and Frank; first wife, Shirley (Shreve) Graham. Survived by his wife, Marge; daughter, Susan (Graham) Gale of Petoskey; son, Michael Graham of Grand Blanc; sister, Caroline Hawes; brother, Robert Graham. Also his Tennessee family, daughters, Linda & Lisa Tobias; sons, Dale & Tim Pfundt and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with many other extended family & friends. Mr. Graham served his country in the US Navy during World War II and Korean War. He was a lifetime member of the American Red Cross and had a true passion in blood donation, which began before World War II and he continued until after his 75th birthday in total donating more than 17 gallons. He was a member of Farnumwood Presbyterian Church and active in many service organizations including the Flint Elks #222 and Cumberland Elks #2751 and American Legion. Mr. Graham retired from General Motors with 31 years of service in 1981. Chuck loved to be by the water, loving his boating and swimming, golfing in earlier years and loved his retirement life he spent in the mountains. Always his happiest to just be outside enjoying the scenery or on a road trip, he visited many places over his lifetime. There will be a private burial service on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Crestwood Cemetery in Grand Blanc with Military honors. A family gathering will follow at the Flint Elks Club.
