Charles T. Bryant born September 4, 1931, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at home surrounded by some of his loving family. He was raised mostly in Missouri on a farm. Charles graduated from Wardell High School in 1951 and went on to serve in the United States Air Force for 4 years. He married Elizabeth Rice in December 1956. Charles received a B.S. from Harding University and worked as a chemist for the U.S.G.S. until his retirement in 1985. He was a devoted and loving husband and father, and his Christ centered life touched so many people. Preceded in death by: Wife, Elizabeth Rice Bryant; Parents, Harvey and Ruby Bryant; Brother, Dwight Bryant. He is loved and survived by: Children, Charles Thomas Bryant Jr. and Angela Bryant Langley; Favorite Son-in-law, Thomas Langley; Grandchildren, Brianna Langley Thomas, Bianca Langley and Paul Troista; Brothers, Wes and John Bryant; Sister, Sherry Bryant Montgomery; many loved and loving nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM with Tom Langley and Minister Jonathan Jones II officiating.
