Cephus H. Stinnett, age 66, died peacefully in his sleep on December 22, 2016, after a prolonged illness. Cephus was a devoted father and husband for 38 years. He retired from Shoney’s of Knoxville after many years of service to the community. Cephus enjoyed a lifelong love of hunting, fishing and woodworking. He devoted himself to his family finding no sacrifice for them too great to make. Preceded in death by: Parents, Joe & Reba Stinnett; Brother, Steve Stinnett; and Sister, Cynthia Stinnett. Survived by: Wife, Jama Stinnett; Son & Daughter-in-law, Jessee & Kari Stinnett; Sister & Brother-in-law, Vivian & David Kineman; Sister-in-law, Christina Stinnett; and Brother & Sister-in-law, Cecil & Karissa Stinnett; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
