Cecil Green

Cecil Green age 85 of Louisville, went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 15, 2009 at home. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church since 1947. He was a faithful husband, devoted father and grandfather. Cecil retired from ALCOA after 41 years of service. Preceded in death by: Wife, Betty Sexton Green; Parents, Bill & Emaline Green; Brothers, Alvin, West, Maynard, Ralph, Robert, Tom, Frank, and Arlie; Sisters, Dorothy, Mable, Cora, Evie, Rosie, Bonnie; infant; also Son-in-law, W.C. Holsonback, Jr. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law, Bill & Carol Green of Stockbridge, GA; Daughter, Florence Holsonback of Maryville; Grandchildren, Greg Green & wife Tammy of Stockbridge, GA, Debbie Waldrop & husband Bill of Columbia, SC, Larry Holsonback & wife Jo of Maryville, Renee Davis & husband Keith of Maryville; Great-Grandchildren, Ashley Green, Bill Waldrop IV, Aaron Green, Madyson Waldrop, Carson Waldrop, Brianna Holsonback and Catharine Holsonback, Landon Davis, and Elijah Davis; Brothers, Raymond, Ray, and Fred; numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to: Dr. McCroskey, Dr. Smuckler, Blount Hospice, & his church family. Also the family would like to thank Steve Lynn for all his special love and friendship over the years. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Sunday, January 18, 2009 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Trent McKeehan and Rev. Butch Cooper officiating. Interment will follow at Middlesettlements Cemetery.
