Cary Dean Burns, passed away suddenly Thursday, October 2, 2014. Cary was Christened at St. John United Methodist Church as a baby and attended there as a child. He had accepted Christ as his personal Savior as an adult and we know God is wrapping him in His everlasting arms. Cary battled addiction for 30 years and his beating heart has been silenced by this struggle. He had a loving heart and good soul that will be a comfort for those of us left behind. Remember "Tell you loved ones that you love them every time you talk to them…..as it could be the last time." He was preceded in death by his Father, Woody Burns, maternal Grandparents, Bronce Richesin and Hulah Richesin Gibson; paternal Grandparents, Charlie and Cecil Burns; Aunt, Brenda Blaine; step-Grandmother, Betty Norman; first Cousin, Steven Lauderback. Survivors include his Mother and Step-Father, Brenda and Jim Norman; Sons and Daughter-in-law, Eric and Tesha Burns, and Lucas Burns; Brother and Sister-in-law, Kelly and Kristi Burns; Grandchildren, Carissa, Mason, and Carson Burns; Mother of his children, Angela Hagy; Niece and Nephew, Brittany and Tyler Burns; Aunts and Uncles, Barbara and Dick Maxwell, Donna and Charles Jennings; many family, friends, special friend, Rhonda Stevens and step-Grandmother, Mary Richesin. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 6, 2014 in the Smith East Hall with Brad Bryant officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Grandview Cemetery for the Interment.
