Carolyn Ann Lee

Lee, Carolyn Ann age 60 of Maryville passed away Friday, July 28, 2006 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a graduate of Walland High School Class of 1965 and attended Tennessee School of Beauty. She has been a hair dresser for 40 years serving many citizens of Blount County. Carolyn has always been a ray of sunshine. She was known for her big heart of love, beautiful smile, and a very cheerful laugh. She was a founding member of Bethesda Church and organizer of Barley Harvest Food Pantry running continuously for 9 years. She was a loving wife and mother and known in the community as being faithful, a friend - always willing to help others graciously. Preceded in death by: Parents, Knox & Margaret Teffeteller; Aunt, Iva Haggard; Nephew Jeff Abbott. Survivors include: Husband, Robert "Squeak" Lee of Maryville; Son, Zachary Abbott; Daughter, Lavonda Lee of Maryville; Brother and Sister-in-law, Rev. McGaha, Pam Eggers, Chris Fuller, Betty Pierce, Alma Sharp; many customers and cousins. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Monday, July 31, 2006 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Doug Teffeteller officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery for the interment. Pallbearers will be: Frank Kiebzak, Johnny Abbott, Mike Howell, Mike Pritchett, Michael Howell, and Eric Lambert. E.L. McGaha will serve as honorary pallbearer.
