Carol Denice Parham

July 12, 1961 — October 18, 2008

Carol Denice Parham departed from this earth to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 18, 2008. Carol was a dedicated Christian wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She fought a long courageous battle with cancer. Through her illness she continued to minister to others battling cancer by her strong Christian faith, courage and strength. God continued to use Carol even in her illness to be His messenger by the life she lived and testimony she so readily gave to others. Carol loved her husband and her children. She called them her Beautiful Gifts from God; always encouraging them to continue to love God, each other and others. Carol was preceded in death by her father, Milo S. Norris, brother, William Bill Norris and her sister, Elisa Darlene Hinds. She is survived by her husband, Howard Brent Parham; son, Coleman Gregory Long and wife, Nicole of Minden, LA; daughter, Courtney Hannah Long of Maryville; son, Jonah Eli Parham of Maryville; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and friends. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2008 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Pastor David Reese officiating.
