Carol Jean Moore

Carol Jean (Roberts) Moore 68 of Maryville lost her fight with pneumonia (ARDS) on January 14, 2014 to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by: Husband, James B. Moore; Parents, Eugene Roberts & Blanche (Ogle) Roberts. She is survived by: Beloved Son, Jeffery Eugene Moore and Wife Peggy; Grandchildren, Ashley LaDonna Moore & Fiancée, Steven Owen (sons, Caden, Tyler & Brenden), Zachary Eugene Moore & Haley LeAnn Moore, Autumn McDaniel, Hailey Brooke & Hannah Jade Lowe; Sister, Martha (Marty) Stephens & Husband Vernon; Niece, Susan Carol (namesake) Stephens Bullen & Husband David; Great-Nephews, Coy & Jonah Bullen; Special Aunt, Nita Thomas; Other Special Aunts, Uncle and Cousins; Special Friends, Charolette Harrison of Dayton TN, Margie Kilgore & Sylvia Hutsell; also the Fabulous Five girlfriends from high school whom she had lunch with once a month; and her Sunday School Class "The Golden Glow." Upon Carol's death her son donated her corneas for organ transplant because his Mother had beautiful eyes. Carol was a caregiver to all. The family will receive friends at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church on Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 12:30 until 2:00 PM. Services will immediately follow with Rev. Greg Long officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
