Carl Ray Spradlin, went to be with the Lord, with his family by his side on October 31, 2014, a day before his 90th birthday. Ray who was known for his love of family, has joined his beloved wife Margaret who passed away 4 years ago. Ray was in the U.S. Army and grew up helping his father, J.W. Spradlin, on the family farm in Bungalow. While raising children he was employed at Alcoa Aluminum Company until retirement. He was a very active member and deacon at Monte Vista Baptist Church. Survived by Son and Daughter-in-law, David and Carolyn Spradlin; Daughters, and Sons-in-law, Jama and Barry Loope, and Cindy and John Clark; Grandchildren and spouses, Josh and Myka Spradlin, Carmen and Chris Webb, and Lindsey Miller; Great Grandchildren, Alli and Abbi Webb, Joshua David Spradlin II, Carter Spradlin, and Andrew Spradlin; Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 in the Smith Trinity Chapel. Family and friends will assemble 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the Grandview Mausoleum for the Entombment service.
