Carl R. Poling

People say that a person is never really gone from this earth until the last person who remembers them is gone as well. If that is true then C.R. “Dick” Poling will never truly be gone.  The depth and number of those positively influenced by him is without measure. 

Dick Poling was a son, soldier, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, realtor, mentor, confidant, and great friend. This only briefly describes the legacy this man created. His legacy is all of us.

Our patriarch has left to be with the Lord; however, he did not leave us all alone. He left with the knowledge that we all understood the main thing he taught us…we are not alone because we have God and each other. 

Please join us in rejoicing and celebrating the legacy of Dick’s life by wearing your best Hawaiian print shire and enjoying an “island party” at The Life Event Center, 1404 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN  37803 on Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
