Carl Robert Kinser

Carl R. Kinser a servant of God, devoted family man, and loving husband, departed his earthly home Wednesday, August 19, 2009 surrounded by his loving family. Carl was a member of Maryville Church of Christ and was in the Poultry & Egg Business in Knoxville for many years. He was a past member of Lions Club, Loudon County Court, and retired elder of Maryville Church of Christ. He was a salesman for Lance, John Housley, and insurance saleman in Tennessee and Kentucky. For several years after retirement, Carl worked part-time at Rarity Bay Gold Club. Survivors include: Wife of 63 years, Mary Creighton Kinser; Daughter, Mary Anne Stansbury and husband Jim of Georgia; Son, Vance Kinser & wife Sue of Maryville; Three grandchildren, Morgan McConnell and husband Shawn of GA, Daniel Kinser of New Orleans, and Ashley Kinser of Maryville; two great-grandchildren, Jordan and Molly of GA and dear friend, Bill Blair. A special thanks to the nurses of Home Healthcare of East Tennessee and Hospice and to Greenback Fire Department for all their help. A Celebration of Life will be at 7:00 PM, Friday, August 21, 2009 at Maryville Church of Christ with Herb Byrd officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Friday, August 21, 2009 at Maryville Church of Christ. Interment will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
