Carl R. Fisher

Carl R. Fisher, 76, of Maryville, Tennessee (formerly of Tipton, Iowa) passed quietly away on Friday, February 28, 2025 in the University of Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee. Carl, son of Frank B. and Nell McKelvey Fisher, was born on September 1, 1948. Carl enlisted in the United States Army and after his tour of duty he returned to the United States. He worked with heavy equipment most of his life. Carl and Pam Bultsma were united in marriage in Maryville, TN and they made their home in Tipton, Iowa where he was active with the Tipton Senior Center, often driving meals to people in their homes for five and a half years and enjoyed helping anyone he could. Carl was a talented man who could fix just about anything.

Carl is survived by his wife, Pam Bultsma Fisher of Maryville, Tennessee, stepchildren, Hunter (Jesseca) Lee and Emily (Matt) Moore; one grandson, Vincent, and one grandchild on the way; his sister Charlene (Tim) Skeens and his brother Dale (Debbie) Fisher as well as lots of nieces and nephews whom he loved wholeheartedly. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Tyna Michaels Fisher and his son, Randall Fisher; his brothers, Charles H. Fisher and Benjamin Fisher and his sisters, Katherine Burchfield, Susan James and Margaret L. Fisher.
