Carl Lee Dunn of Rockford, born January 21, 1926 in Townsend, TN went to be with The Lord Saturday, May 16, 2015. He was of the Baptist Faith. A Veteran of WWII having served his country in the U.S., the Philippines, and his last year as a guard at ORNL, Oak Ridge. Mr. Dunn was retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company. He was preceded in death by parents, Carlie Mathis and Julia Webb Dunn of Townsend; Wife, Nellie M. Dunn; Grandson, Timothy Roy; Step-Children, Jo Ann Hester Moses and Randy Hester; Sister, Grace Webb Burns; and Brother, Andy "Junior" Burns. He is survived by Sons, C.L. Dunn of Georgia, Carl David Dunn and wife, Kathy of Maryville; Step-Son, Kenneth Williams and wife, Alma of Maryville; Daughters, Neda Dunn of Ohio, Debbie Roy and special "son-in-law" Tim Roy of Rockford, Jamie Olsen of Maryville; Step-Daughter, Nancy Moses and son-in-law, Austin Moses of Knoxville; Sisters, Sally Helton of Maryville, Virgia Cable of Maryville, Louise Russell of Maryville, and Betty Condry also of Maryville; Grandchildren; Eric, Andrew, Tabitha, Brittany, and Brandon; Great Grandchildren, Hope, Karlee, Karson, Olivia, and Caleb; Step-Grandchildren, Kenley, Lisa, Jerry, Deon, and Becky; Special Friends, Bill Richards and Earl Jett of Rockford; Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and his special caregiver, Pat Abbott. At Mr. Dunn's request, no Funeral Services are planned. You may pay your respects to the family in the Smith Trinity Chapel on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. with the Interment to follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Sherwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
