Carl Carruba, Jr.

Carl Carruba, Jr. age 72 of Friendsville, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a veteran of US Navy serving in the Korean War. He retired from Schlegel and was one of the operators of Carruba Pools. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Carruba; parents, Carl Carruba Sr. & Mazie Johnson. Survivors include his sons & daughters in-law, Jeff & Mackey Carruba, Anthony Carruba & Cammie Blake; Michael Carruba; daughters & sons-in-law, Sherri & Grant Gilmour, Melissa & Michael Biliki, Cindy & Bob Porter; grandchildren, David, James, Olivia & Megan Carruba; great-granddaughter, Chloe Carruba; brother, Donald Eugene Carruba; sister, Rita Morgan; and his loving dog “Coco.�?
