Carl R. Betzler

Carl R. Betzler age 86 of Maryville; passed away Tuesday, may 17, 2011 at the family home. He retired with 36 years of service from Gold Coast Crane Services in Hollywood, FL. He enjoyed playing softball in a league, fishing & camping. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of North Dade Baptist Church in North Miami Beach, FL. Carl was a loving husband, great father & grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert & Francis Betzler; daughter, Rebecca Ann. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Betty Ann Betzler; son & daughter-in-law, Stanley & Brandye Betzler; son, Dale Betzler; daughter & son-in-law, Betty Jo & Art Aguiar; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Betzler; brother & sister-in-law, Loyd & Fridel Betzler; sister, Alberta Lah; several nieces, nephews & many special friends. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service 2:00 pm with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating.
