Calvin "Cap" Satterfield, 88, or Maryville passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital. Calvin was born May 19, 1924 in Vonore, Tennessee to the late William A. & Jessie Satterfield. He was a member of Four Mile Baptist Church and an Army Veteran of World War II. He was retired from Alcoa Aluminum Plant with 30 years of service. Cap was a brick mason, hunter & fisherman, a hard worker, and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was married to the love of his life Lorraine Chambers Satterfield for 66 years. He is survived by his wife and four sons who he was so proud of. Preceded in death by: Parents, W.A. & Jessie Satterfield; Brothers, Ernest, J.D., Billy; Sisters, Mattie & Alva; Grandsons, Brett & Bradley Satterfield. Survivors include: Wife, Lorraine; Brother, Perry Satterfield; Sons & Daughters-in-law, Dwight (Missy), Ivan (Gail), Bill (Dora Jane), and Larry (Patti); Grandchildren, Scott, April, Emily, Kelly, Jill, Neil, Traci, Marcus, Abby, Brett, Jessica, and Kelsey; Great-Grandchildren, Evey, Sarah, Wess, Thomas, Shelby & Austin, Kendall, McKenzie, Harley, Sophie, Will, & Harper. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. James Wells officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Four Mile Baptist Church Cemetery for the interment.
