C. Ellis Holland age 86 of Maryville, passed away Friday, January 2, 2009, at the family home. He was a member of Alcoa-Maryville Church of God and a United States Navy Veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by: Parents, Clarence & Margie Holland; Twin Brother, James Holland; Brothers, Carl Holland and Wib Holland. Survivors include: Wife of 55 years, Billie Russell Holland; Daughter and Son-in-law, Becky & Tab Statum of Maryville; Granddaughter, Caroline Statum. Family will receive friends from 11:00 until 12:30 PM, Monday, January 5, 2009 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral Service at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Hubert McGarity and Rev. Melvin Lonas officiating.
