Burnice Elaine Caughron Brewer, Maryville, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by: Parents, Alvin "Baldy" and Ella Mae Caughron; Infant Daughter, Kendra Lee Brewer; Father-in-law, Bruce Brewer; Nephew, Wayne Brewer; Brother-in-law, Paul Moats. Survivors include: Husband of 45 years, Robert Leroy Brewer; Daughter, Pamela (Pam) Brewer; Son & Daughter-in-law, Michael (Mike) & Tracy Brewer of Maryville; Five Special Grandchildren, Logan Clark Elliott, Elijah Sinclair Hatfield, Mallory Jade Hatfield, Addison Andrew Hatfield, and Hunter Ross White; Sisters, Betty Jo Moats of Jasper, TN and Cassie & James Jordan of Ridgeway, VA; Mother-in-law, Ella Mae Brewer of Maryville; Special nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; Brothers & Sisters-in-law, Shirley Hill, Robert & Mary Byrd, Bill & Judy Brewer and Gene & Anna Brewer; Special friend, Cheryl Reneau; Special cousins whom Burnice dearly loved, William (Bill) & Betty Gentry of Smyrna, GA, Doris Hunt, Veleta Murphy, Delores Morgan, Doris Crowe, & Genella McLemore; Aunts, Blanche Davis and Ruth Caughron; and a host of other cousins; Special neighbors, Gary & Genia Huffstetler, Gene & Louise Wildner and good friends at church. At Burnice's request, there will only be a graveside service and interment for all family and friends at Grandview Cemetery at 4:00 PM, Saturday, April 25, 2009 with Pastor Delbert Raines, Pastor Dale Ellenburg and Grandson Logan Elliott officiating. Pastor Jackie Midkiff and Son Jackie Lee will be singing one of Burnice's favorite songs. In lieu of flowers, send donations to: Blount Dialysis Center in Burnice's honor. Friends may call at their convenience between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Saturday, April 25, 2009 at the funeral home. Family will greet friends at their home following the service.
