Whitehead, Brownie B. (Hurst) age 84 of Maryville passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Binfield Methodist Church. Preceded in death by: Parents, Caleb & Maggie Hurst; Daughter, Patricia Gale Teffeteller; Brothers, Doyle Hurst, Bill Hurst, Ray Hurst. Survivors include: Husband, Ernest Whitehead; Daughters, Mary Ernestine Rice & husband Frank and Linda Faye Hoggard and husband Jessie; Grandchildren, Russell Rice & wife Brenda, Karen Robb & husband Glenn, Steven Rice, Jessica Houda & husband David, Marsha Husa & husband Glenn, James Teffeteller, Nancy DeLaurie & husband John, Rebecca Zoener, Susan Jurasas & husband Jon Paul; Fifteen Great-Grandchildren; Brothers, James Hurst, Jack Hurst, Robert Hurst; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Friday, October 20, 2006 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Charles Copeland and Rev. William Bennett officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 21, 2006 at Grandview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Russell Rice, Karen Robb, Jessica Houda, Marsha Husa, James Teffeteller, Nancy DeLaurie, Rebecca Zoener, and Susan Jurasas.
