Bonnie Lynn Sullivan

February 4, 1954 — January 23, 2010

Bonnie Lynn Sulllivan went home to be with our Lord on January 23, 2010, after a long illness. She was born in Highland Park, Michigan, on February 4, 1954. Bonnie dedicated her life to Jesus and to caring for her daughter, Christie Angela Sullivan, who preceded her in death on January 4, 2010. Bonnie grew up in Troy, Michigan and moved to Tennessee in 1972 to attend Lee State University. While working full-time and caring for Christie, Bonnie went to nursing school and became an LPN in 2000. She enjoyed dancing and bowling, loved driving out-of-town visitors through the Smokies, and volunteered for Meals on Wheels and The Gateway to Independence as long as she was able. Bonnie cared greatly for her family and friends and appreciated all the help she was given. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Collins and Dorothy Collins. She is survived by: her siblings, Lee (Jeannie) Collins, Carol (Jim) Artcliff, Judy Schmitt, Linda (Michael) Irlbacher, and Scott Collins; many nieces and nephews; nurse and close friend Jackie Carter; and many other close friends; and her brothers and sisters in Christ at RIO East church. The family will receive visitors from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday in the Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 26, 2010 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Pastor Dale Buchanan officiating with the interment to follow at Grandview Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at The Life Event Center. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Cathy L.
