Bonnie Kate Boring

Boring, Bonnie Kate age 89 of Maryville, passed away Monday, September 1, 2008 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a lifelong member of First Christian Church. She was an aide & nurse at Blount Memorial Hospital Hospital for 37 years. She attended Maryville College and University of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Burke & Nora White Flynn; brothers, Martin Flynn, Ray Flynn; sister, Verdie (Bert) Jones. Survived by sons, M. Eugene Boring, Jimmy Wayne Boring & Dennis Alan Boring; daughter, Bonnie S. Berrong; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Marvin (Bill) Flynn & J.B. Flynn; sisters, Ruth Hauan & Opal Callahan. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at the First Christian Church of Maryville. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Minister Harold Ray officiating. A private interment service will be at Grandview Cemetery.
