Bonnie Sue Bishop

Bonnie Sue Bishop, age 83, of Maryville passed away Thursday, December 14, 2023. She was born on April 20, 1940, to Joe T. and Minnie Mae Frazier in Cass County, TX and was the last surviving member of their seven children. She was a member of West Maryville Baptist Church and a leader of the Nickle Point Quilters Club. Bonnie was an avid cook and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Kenneth Bishop, mother, father, siblings, and granddaughter Caitlyn Jackson.

Survivors include children, Melinda (Jeff) Jackson of Battle Creek, MI, Curtis (Janet) Bishop, and of Cleveland, TN, and Roger (Deana) Bishop of Maryville; grandchildren John (Adrian) Jackson, Nick (Amanda) Jackson, Christopher Jackson, and Kenna Jackson of Battle Creek, MI; Emily Bishop, Samantha Bishop, and Jesse Bishop of Cleveland, TN; Julia Bishop and Livy Bishop of Maryville; great-grandchildren Ella and Oaklee Jackson of Battle Creek, MI, Evelyn Wilkinson of Cleveland, TN, and Caitlyn Jackson of Battle Creek, MI. 

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 PM, Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Smith East Hall.  Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev.
