Bobby Wendell Stooksbury

Bobby Wendell Stooksbury age 78 of Rockford passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Asbury Place. He was born in Loyston, TN on July 6, 1935 and moved with his parents to Blount County in 1936 where he grew up on the family farm in Rockford. Bobby loved his Lord & Savior and was a good Christian. Preceded in death by: Parents, Kermit Randolph Stooksbury & Eula Troxler Stooksbury; Brother, Gerald Lynn Stooksbury. Survivors include: Brothers & Sisters-in-law, Ted & Lana Stooksbury and Eddie & Ruth Stooksbury; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express appreciation to his caregivers at Asbury Place for the last 9 ½ years. Funeral service will be at 6:30 PM, Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment.
