Bobby Ray Jones

Jones, Bobby Ray age 78 of Rockford passed away Friday, December 19, 2008 at the family's home. He was a devoted member of Riverview Baptist Church for 56 years and a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved to antique and spent years being a flea market vendor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Cora Jones; 2 brothers Tommy & Edward Jones and sister, Anna Mae Farrar. Survivors include his wife, Gladys Bible Jones; sons and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Novella Jones, and Stephen Jones; daughter & son-in-law, Linda Gail & Mike McKinsey; brothers, Leland Jones and Jimmy Jones; sister, Betty White; grandchildren, Shane Jones, Brooke Jones, Danielle Jones, Shannon and husband Jess Gamble; great-grandchild, Tanner Jones; Special Sister-in-law, Gaynelle Anderson and special friend, Ryan Loge. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2008 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Billy Moore, Rev. Buster Gibson, Rev. Doug White, and Rev. Charles Roy Murrell officiating. The family and friends will assemble at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Clarks Grove Cemetery for the Interment with Phil Payne, Don Bible, Ryan Loge, Jim Lethgo, Dan Anderson, Jimmy Miller, Randy Myers, and Jess Gamble serving as Pallbearers and Vernon Duncan and Tanner Jones serving as Honorary Pallbearers.
