Bobby Joe Headrick

Bobby Joe (Bob) Headrick age 66 of Maryville died Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the family home. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor's Degree in Transportation. He was a member of Foothills Church and an ordained Deacon. He worked as plant and regional manager with Grief, Inc. for 32 years, worked with Jr. Achievement, Youth Soccer, and The Boy Scouts of America in Kingsport. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam era with a rank of E-6 repairing the Hawk Missiles Systems . Preceded in death by his parents, Artie and Flaura Headrick. Survivors include his wife, Judy Alexander Headrick; son and daughter-in-law, Drs. Joseph Jeremy and Sarah Headrick, Jason Todd and Emily Headrick; grandchildren, Autumn and Alyssa Headrick, Owen and Liam Headrick; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Betty Headrick; sister, Mary Skeen; several nieces and nephews; long time friends, Byron Pollard, Mike and Kay Hayes, Brian, Beverly, Travis and Anthony Wilson. Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2013 in the Smith West Chapel with Dr. Trent Stewart officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Foothills Church Building Fund in memory of Bob.
