Bobbie C. Quillen age 88, of Alcoa, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on March 7, 2010 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Alcoa, TN. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandparent. Preceded in death by: Husband of 58 years, Ernest C. Quillen; Parents, John & Julia Coker; Sister, Mamie Hughes; Brother, Curtis Coker. Survivors include: Daughter & Son-in-law, Angela & Ron Myers of Alcoa; Son & Daughter-in-law, Danny & Anita Quillen of Marietta, GA; Grandchildren, Mike Myers of Memphis, TN, Jamie Myers of Huntersville, NC, Kelli Anderson (Jack) of Alcoa, TN, Lori Lathem (Greg) of Marietta, GA, Lisa Broadhead (Tommy) of Ponte Vedra, FL, Casey Quillen (Vicki) of Sandy Springs, GA; Twelve Great-Grandchildren. She also leaves behind siblings: Ruth Jenkins of Knoxville, TN, Helen Coker of Maryville, TN, Jack Coker of Waynesville, OH, and Jerry Coker of Toledo, OH; Special friend, Judy Valenzuela; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:30 PM, Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Smith West Chapel with funeral service to follow at 7:30 PM with Rev. Freeman Tomlin officiating. Memorials may be made to: First Baptist Church of Alcoa Renovation Funds, 819 Gilbert Street, Alcoa, TN 37701.
