Blanche L. Johnson

Johnson, Blanche Lawson�"age 91, of Maryville, formerly of Townsend, passed away Friday, February 19, 2010, peacefully at home. She was a member of Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, James Milton (J.M.) Johnson; parents, Earl and Alice Lawson; son-in-law, Avery Abbott; brother-in-law, Joseph Less. Survived by her sister, Ada Less of Maryville; son, Stanford B. Johnson of Linden, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Susan Abbott-Effler and Bruce Effler of Maryville; grandchildren, Stanford E. Johnson of Walland; Keith Abbott and wife Loren of Maryville; Steve Johnson of Columbia, TN; Rhonda Abbott Blevins and husband Terry of Loudon; several great-grandchildren; special friends Cye and Gayle Miles, Ellen Harrison, Nancy Godfrey, Evelyn Ledbetter, and Mary Davis; special cousins and caregivers. Interment will be at Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church Cemetery on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 pm at the church. Pastors Ken Abbott and Rhonda Abbott Blevins will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service.
