Blanche Garner Everett, age 100, went to be with The Lord on Sunday afternoon, September 2, 2012. She was born on January 12, 1912 to William and Cora Garner. She was a member of Piney Level Baptist Church. She loved flowers and plants, each summer she had a beautiful garden and canned her home grown vegetables. Her winter hours were spent making quilts for friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Enoch, son Ralph. Survivors include daughters, Dorothy (Jim) Hayes of Kennesaw, GA, Wilma (Rex) Caughron of Maryville, TN, Barbara (Gary) Taylor of Maryville, TN, Shirley (Steve) Burnette of Powell, TN; Sons, Jimmy (Ruthie) of Jefferson, GA, Tommy (Kay) of Hapeville, GA, Buddy (Lynn) of Sharpsburg, GA. Blanche also leaves a sister, Juanita Brown, and a brother, Dewey Garner. She had 23 Grandchildren, 30 Great-Grandchildren, 8 Great Great-Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Blount Memorial Hospice for the care they gave our Mother for these past few weeks. Also, a special thank you to Janie for traveling from Florida to care for our Mother during her last weeks. A celebration of Blanche's Life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 in the Smith West Chapel with Rev. George Macht and Rev. R.M. Everett officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Piney Level Baptist Church Cemetery.
