Blanche L. Adams

Blanche Stinnett Adams, age 92 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016 at the family home. Blanche was a longtime member of Faith Baptist Church. She was born May 19, 1923 at Fighting Creek in what is now Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Preceded in death by: Husband, Jimmie Adams; Son, Stanley Adams; Parents, Ashley & Lillie Stinnett; Brothers, Estell, Bruce, and Wayne Stinnett; Sisters, Mattie Manis and Ina Brewer. Survivors include: Daughters & Sons-in-law, Lynda & Dewayne Compton and Kathie & Don Manning; Son & Daughter-in-law, Kenneth & Linda Adams; Grandchildren, Andrew Compton, Andrea Compton Ellis & John, Staci Manning Davie, Joseph Nathan Manning, and Jimmie Adams & Jennifer; Great-Grandchildren, Michael Compton, Matthew & Miranda Ellis, Alexis & Cecelia Davie, Jayden Click. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 PM, Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Smith West Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Shawn Breazeale and Rev.
