Farmer, Birdie L. age 82 of Maryville passed away Monday, March 9, 2009 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Eastside Church of Christ. Preceded in death by: Husband, Paul Farmer; Parents, Birch and Velma Bumbalough; Brother, James Bumbalough: Sisters, Anna Ruth Bumbalough and Mary Bumbalough. Survivors include: Sons & Daughter-in-law, Dennis and Wanda Farmer of Hartford, KY and Ronald & Irene Farmer of New Mexico; Brothers, Joel Bumbalough of FL and Harold Bumbalough of Maryville; Sister-in-law, Ethel Bumbalough of Maryville. Funeral service will be at 6:00 PM, Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Smith West Chapel with Preacher Dean Buchanan officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 1:00 PM, Friday, March 13, 2009 at Grandview Cemetery.
