Billy Harold Teffeteller

Billy Harold (Bill) Teffeteller passed away on September 1, 2022 at Fort Sanders Hospital. Bill was born to Roy and Ruby Teffeteller on August 7, 1943 in Maryville, TN and lived almost his entire life as a Blount Countian. Bill was a veteran of the US Army and was retired from the William Wrigley Company after several years as a Sales Representative. Bill enjoyed traveling, playing golf, and volunteering with Horse Haven of Tennessee as long as his health would allow, and always loved spending time with his family. He was a long-time member of Broadway United Methodist Church and most recently was a faithful member of Alcoa First United Methodist Church, where he greatly enjoyed the NOVA Sunday School Class (and was always willing to share his opinion).  He was instrumental in starting / strengthening United Methodist Men chapters at both churches. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ruby Teffeteller, and by his Sister, Sandy Bowers. Left to mourn and cherish his memory are his Wife of 56 years Sandra Irwin Teffeteller, Son and Daughter in-law Kevin and Lisa Teffeteller, Brother in-law Carl Bowers, Sister in-law Anna Lawson, devoted rescue German Shepherd Maggie, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 7:30 PM Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Smith Trinity Chapel. The Funeral Service will follow at 7:30 PM with Reverend Todd Chancey officiating. Family will gather for a Graveside Service at Magnolia Cemetery on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM for Interment.
