Billy Joe “BJ�? Murray age 58 of Maryville died on Friday, December 9, 2011 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Ira and Bertha Davis, and his father, Alvin C. Murray. Survivors include his mother, Bonnie Murray; brother and sister-in-law, Alvin and Karen Murray; brother, Dennis Murray; sister, Judy Newman; nephews, Chris and Brian Newman; niece, Lisa Murray; special friend Leann Lambert. The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at Blount Memorial Hospital and to Dr. Scott Gardner and his staff. Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 12, 2011 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Joe Haase and Rev. Gerald Lawson officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Smith Funeral & Cremation Service to help with final expenses.
