Billy McDonald Campbell, Sr.

Billy McDonald Campbell Sr. age 82 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at home. He was a member of First United Methodist Church Maryville, a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Army as a para-trooper, and retired from TVA after 40 years of service. Preceded in death by: Wife, Margaret Leath Campbell; Parents, Cloe & Rita Campbell; Brothers, Darrell Campbell, Oren Campbell, and Joe Campbell. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law, Billy Jr. & Connie Campbell; Son, Christopher Campbell; Daughter, Tami Frederick; Grandchildren, Shannon Campbell, Tiffany Frederick, Ashley Tyler & Fiancé Chris Baker, Cory Frederick, and Caitlyn Campbell; Great-Grandchildren, Trinity Snow, Ariel Snow, and Charlie Tyler; Special Grandchildren, Ethan Cutshaw, Michael Warwick, and Cade Williams; Sisters, Jean Barnett and Maxine Jones. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Larry Carroll & Rev. Brenda Carroll officiating. Interment with military honors will be at 1:30 PM, Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Veteran's Cemetery on Lyons View Pike.
