Beulah Ruth Franklin Ownby

Beulah Ruth Franklin Ownby, age 95, of Townsend passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was born in Townsend, TN and raised in Elkmont and Tremont, TN. She retired from Robertshaw-Fultons in Knoxville with 35 years of service. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Ownby; parents, William F. & Era Clemmentine Franklin; brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Iva Franklin; brothers, Shirl Franklin, Ernest "Jack" Franklin, and Claude Franklin; sister, Grace Franklin; son-in-law, Carl H. Clabough. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Alice Clabough; grandchildren, Becky Connatser, Pat Clabough, Carleen Boring and husband, Tom, Linda Kelley and husband, Parkey, Larry Clabough and wife, Lori; great grandchildren, Daniel Connatser and wife, Jessica, Michelle Fuson and husband, Matt, Suzanne Connatser, Michael Connatser, Andy Boring, Savannah, Justin and Lindsay Kelley; great great grandchildren, Jack, Eli and Maggie Fuson; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Phylis Franklin; sister-in-law, Elsie Franklin; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2012 in the Smith West Chapel with Rev. Rex Everett officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Townsend.
