Betty Mae White

March 25, 1943 — March 13, 2017

Betty Litton White went to her heavenly home Monday night, March 13, 2017 surrounded by her family at her home. She was born March 25, 1943 in Oneida, TN and shortly thereafter, moved to Maryville. Betty was a graduate of Everett High School and a member of East Maryville Baptist Church where she taught 4th graders for many years and loved her church family. Betty always followed Jesus’ example of loving family, friends, and strangers. Preceded in death by: husband, Donald R. White; parents, Harold & Dimple Litton. She left behind her greatest joys, her daughters, Angela Anderson & husband John, Chana White & husband Kevin, son, Bryan White & wife Melissa; grandchildren, Russell Anderson & fiancé Alexi King, Brianna Bushong & husband Beau, Samuel, & Louisa Anderson, Maeleah White, Lairame White & fiancé Elijah Hatfield, Raina, & Daelyn White and Litton White; great-grandchildren, Poppy & Abram Bushong. Her children are so grateful to her friends who helped care for her during her fight with cancer. In lieu of flowers please donate in her memory to East Maryville Baptist Church, 1150 E Brown School Rd, Maryville, TN 37804. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:30 PM, Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Smith West Chapel. Funeral service will be at 2:30 PM with Rev. Keith Johnson officiating.
